Fast Facts:
- I was born in Haiti and raised in the city of Chicago.
- I am one of thirteen children.
- If I was not a teacher and coach, I would be a youth pastor.
I am a graduate of Elmhurst College located in Elmhurst, Illinois. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in K-12 Physical Education with an endorsement in Middle School and Secondary Health Education. While at Elmhurst, I took coursework in the field of Special Education. I have also earned my Masters degree in Educational Leadership at the University of St.Francis.
PROFESSIONAL GOAL:
To obtain a teaching position that will provide me the opportunity to help students maximize their potential academically, socially, and physically.
To obtain a varsity head coach position that requires the responsibility of building, promoting, managing, and maintaining an exemplary program that is evident by athletic success while having a positive impact on the school and the community.
I am very passionate when it comes to working with students and athletes. I am a service oriented person and enjoy giving of my time to assist others. Beyond teaching and coaching athletics, I am also very interested in sponsoring extracurricular activities for students. Some of my experiences with these activities are below:
- I have experience in organizing the Elmhurst College Habitat for Humanity Spring Break service trips traveling across the United States.
- I volunteered with Young Life, a Christian ministry geared to mentoring high school students.
