Awards and Achievements
During my collegiate career I have been fortunate enough to receive a few accolades which are indicative of my hard work and passion for service.Below are a few of those awards.
- 2012 Elmhurst College Graduation Speaker
- Founders Award 2010-2011 (Most distinguished award given to students for service to the College)
- Fraternity Man of the Year 2011
- Student Organization of the Year (Habitat for Humanity- President) 2010-2011
Below are a few of my achievements from my previous/current teaching and coaching position.
- Instrumental in changing the P.E department’s curriculum from a team sports curriculum to a fitness-based curriculum.
- Implemented a weight training unit focused on lifelong functional fitness.
- Presented to P.E teachers across the district on how to effectively incorporate I-Pads in the P.E classroom.
- IHSA 8A Football Playoff Qualifier –York High School (2008, 2010,2011)
- 1 Conference Championship
- IHSA 8A Football Playoff Qualifier –Homewood Flossmoor High School (2012-2014).

- IHSA 8A Football State Championship Runner Up (2014). Nationally Ranked #26
- Decreased the opponent points per game average from 28 pts. to 22 pts. (2017)
- Defense ranked 9th all time in school history for most interceptions in one season. 7th all time for most fumble recoveries (2016)
- Increased teams average max: Bench Press by 30 Lbs Hang Clean by 32 Lbs and Squat by 43 Lbs.(2016)
- Installed a new defensive system which led to an increase in takeaways (23). Ranked 9th all time in school history for most takeaways in one season (2015)
