My Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy is student centered. I believe the student should come first. I will devote extra time if a student needs it. In my class the learner will have a sense of respect and confidence. I will hold them accountable for things they do. The student will be taught why it is important to be respectful toward others. The learners will also be taught why it is important to have confidence, because without confidence it is difficult to achieve success in life.
I will strive to make my class upbeat and exciting at all times. I want the students to enjoy movement. I will teach the students about their bodies, and why it is important to keep their bodies healthy. My goal is to provide the students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to participate in health enhancing physical activities throughout their lives. I also will strive to help students achieve self-motivation. My teaching philosophy reflects the values that I hold true as a citizen and a learner.
